Childhood things

Do you remember when you were drawing with sidewalk chalk? Or when you wore water floaties?
Today I'm a little nostalgic so I'm going to talk about things that I done when I was a child, like when I learned to ride my bike whithout training wheels.
When I was little, my favourite TV shows were "Winnie the Pooh" and "Pipi Calzaslargas" I had lots of teddies of Winnie and his friends and my granmother gave me in my sixth birthday a whole collection of cassettes of Pipi.
I remember the days waking up, pulling on yesterday's shorts and shirt and running out the door, with no phone, wallet or keys and with no plans... I'd come back when I got hungry :)
Something that I loved so much  was the "Kinder" surprise and (That's emabrrasing) I used to think that my toys were alive and talking to each other when I turned my back.
There are a lot of things that I miss about childhood like the perfect skin, the nap time, the saturday morning cartoons, weeked sleep-overs with my friends, having a simple faith in the power of prayer, seeing and reading Harry Potter over and over, watching movies with my parents and having dad tryng to cover up swear words by saying "NANANANA" loudy and finally, I really, really miss my magic blanked that had the power to take away all fear and sorrow.
